Alyssa is an Executive Legal Recruiter at Macmel, specializing in attorney placements across the Midwest. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, she earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law. Before transitioning into recruiting, Alyssa practiced as an associate attorney at a small law firm, focusing on criminal, family, and estate matters. Representing clients in complex, often emotionally charged cases instilled in her a commitment to empathy, integrity, and clear, practical guidance—principles that now define her approach to legal recruiting.

Alyssa divides her time between Pittsburgh, PA and San Juan, PR, maintaining strong professional and personal ties in both communities.
