Amar is an Executive Legal Recruiter at Macmel, where she specializes in facilitating attorneys' lateral moves. Having navigated her own transition from public interest to private practice, she understands the job search process from an attorney's perspective. Before joining Macmel, Amar practiced across a broad range of areas, including personal injury, employment, general liability, construction defect, and criminal defense. As a public defender, she first-chaired more than thirty jury trials, giving her firsthand insight into the challenges and opportunities attorneys face throughout their careers.

Amar received her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 2019 and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
