Amar is an Executive Legal Recruiter at Macmel, where she specializes in facilitating attorneys’ lateral moves. Having navigated her own career transition from public interest to private practice, she has an understanding of the job search experience from an attorney’s perspective. Amar has experience practicing various types of law including personal injury, employment, general liability, construction defect and criminal defense. As a public defender, she did over 30 jury trials. She received her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 2019 and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
